The Design Process

Initial consultation – Our garden designer will visit you at your home for an initial consultation. This will allow us to find out what it is you want out of your garden, who will have use of the garden – pets, children etc, the amount of time you want to spend maintaining it and the amount of money you want to spend.

Garden survey – A full measured survey taking dimensions, levels and general surroundings.

Concept plan – Following the survey we will produce a simple concept plan of the garden design. This will show you the overall layout and scale of features that are proposed. We can discuss any amendments and tweaks to the design before we develop the master plan.

Final design – A full and detailed plan of the finished design with 3d imagery can be produced so that you have a full understanding of what is going to be achieved.

Planting plans – Planting plans can be proved in the design process if required.

The cost for this service varies and depends on the amount of work needed, as you would expect a large high end garden will require more time, therefore we charge a percentage fee based on the total value of the garden. This will be discussed before the design work is carried out.
